JOB OVERVIEW
The Media Director at Lakeland serves as a critical bridge between the church's message and the community it serves. This role involves technical expertise and a deep understanding of the church's mission and values. It allows them to create media content that engages, inspires, and informs our church family and the broader surrounding audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Videography: Plan and execute video production for church-related content, including sermon clips, promotional videos, event coverage, interviews, and ministry spotlights.

Photography: Attend and document church events, including worship services, baptisms, and other gatherings, to capture candid and posed shots that convey the spirit and atmosphere of these events.

Social Media Content: Create content for our social media platforms that drives engagement and awareness.

Volunteer Recruitment and Training: Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers to assist with audio, video, and lighting during services and events. Provide ongoing training and support to volunteers to enhance their skills.

Website Updates: Assist in maintaining and updating the church's website with fresh content and current information about services, events, and ministries.

Community Engagement: Engage with the congregation and the community to identify and share stories demonstrating the impact of Lakeland's ministries and initiatives.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other church leaders, volunteers, and staff members to align media content with the overall vision and mission of the church.

Content Planning: Participate in content planning meetings to contribute ideas and strategies for media and communications initiatives.
